Tattoo mogul Mario Barth has teamed up with the Mirage and the Light Group to open a lifestyle tattoo studio, interactive lounge, and bar room in Las Vegas in winter 2010. The 4,000-square-foot venue, titled Mario Barth at the Mirage, will be a first-of-its-kind cutting-edge tattoo fashion and lifestyle venue. The space will feature traditional baroque decor balanced with a rock 'n' roll edge. Marble flooring, lavish fabrics, extravagant chandeliers, and royalty-inspired furnishings will pair with an edgy bar adorned with glass skulls.

The tattooing portion of the venue will be called King Ink and will be operated by Barth and his top-rate team. CEO Barth will take appointments himself at the new venue, skipping the typical two-year wait list. Guests can also enjoy a high-tech interactive lounge and hot spot nightly, including a bar room and lounge that will be managed by Las Vegas-based the Light Group. "Introducing Mario into The Mirage family is an absolute privilege for us," says Scott Sibella, president and COO of the Mirage. "His energy, proven track record and reputation around the globe make this new venture a sure-fire hit."
